Conserve and restore nature and biodiversity within our operations and beyond
As a business that derives much of our value from nature, we are uniquely placed to look beyond simply reducing our impact, to ensuring we actively cultivate positive outcomes in the landscapes in which we operate and for the natural world. Working with our partners, we are committed to advancing conservation, reforestation, peatland rehabilitation and biodiversity enhancement projects across our operations and beyond. Our landscape-level conservation and restoration efforts build on our existing extensive reforestation work and aim to conserve or restore 100,000ha of land across our sourcing landscapes by 2030 – helping nature flourish within and beyond our direct operations.

Protecting biodiversity is an urgent challenge that many businesses are still coming to terms with. We are expediting the creation of a Biodiversity Conservation Plan by 2025 which will cover each of our key sourcing countries to ensure we maintain and grow our programmes for protecting endangered species across our operations.
We aim to transition towards more sustainable practices, developing and implementing our own robust framework for regenerative agriculture.
