Through this strategy, we will move beyond mitigating our negative impacts, to restoring nature and transforming lives and livelihoods. We will do this through both our activity and influence – embodying our purpose as a business that cares to nourish and dares to flourish in the palm oil industry.

Our climate action initiatives are measured against science-based goals to reach net-zero emissions. We will further reduce our negative impact on the planet and people by achieving a deforestation-free supply chain and exploitation-free supply chain, preserving resources through circular economy approaches to waste, as well as aligning with the most robust standards on labour rights and human rights.

Embracing the call for businesses to shift from merely mitigating their negative impacts to ensuring positive outcomes for the natural world, we are conserving, restoring, and regenerating nature within and beyond our operations, often with the support of strong partners. We are charting credible pathways to protect biodiversity and are working to develop a regenerative agricultural framework that will apply to oil palm.

Building on our work to uphold the rights of people and communities in our value chain, we will continue to use our influence to advocate for and advance human and labour rights in the palm oil sector. We will work to positively transform the lives of our people and communities and uplift livelihoods, especially those of smallholders, within our operations and value chain.
